God's Everlasting Forgiveness
Dear brothers and sisters, In the book of Psalms, Chapter 86, Verse 5, We find these comforting words: " For you, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, and abundant in mercy to all those who call upon you" These words remind us of a fundamental truth about our gracious and loving God-He is always ready to forgive sinners, no matter the weight of our transgression, no matter how far we have strayed from His path, God 's forgiveness is a gift that is ever -present and freely given. In the book of Isaiah, Chapter 1, Verse 18, the Lord invites us to reason together, saying, "Come now, let us settle the matter. Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool." What a marvelous promise ! God's forgiveness has the power to cleanse us completely, to wash away the stains of our sins, and to make us pure and new. In the parable of the prodigal son, Jesus teaches us about the Father'...
