Grace on the Cross

Dear brothers and sisters, today, we come together to delve deep into the astonishing message of grace that Jesus displayed even in the agony of the cross. The crucifixion of Jesus speaks volumes about the boundless Word of Grace. When we envision the scene of Jesus on that cross, we're not merely witnessing a gruesome execution but a divine revelation of grace. Amidst unbearable pain, Jesus uttered these profound words: "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do" (Luke 23:34). These words are a divine wellspring of grace that poured forth from His heart. Jesus, the Son of God, could have summoned heavenly armies to rescue Him, yet He chose to endure the suffering, humiliation, and isolation of the cross, all for the sake of redeeming humanity. This selfless act embodies the very essence of grace.
